The volcano looms over the town for most of the movie, but when it starts erupting suddenly its right there, smoke billowing out. The ground is shaking, the camera is shaking, the smoke is oddly stationary. &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;It's just a big painting of a volcano with smoke pouring out. They thought that if they shook the camera, we wouldn't notice the stationary plumes of smoke. Yegads, who thought that was going to work?</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8419527/114773638063657520/comments/default/114774847569632840'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8419527/114773638063657520/comments/default/114774847569632840'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://newyorkerinhollywood.blogspot.com/2006/05/oh-poor-poseidon.html?showComment=1147748460000#c114774847569632840' title=''/><author><name>DoorFrame</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/16469510067813350044</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://newyorkerinhollywood.blogspot.com/2006/05/oh-poor-poseidon.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8419527.post-114773638063657520' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/8419527/posts/default/114773638063657520' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
